About Me
WHO AM I?

PROFESSIONAL LIFE
I worked for over 25 years in a multi-national environment and travelled around the world. I had the chance to collaborate with so many different people with diverse cultures, beliefs, and habits. In this very hectic period of my life, I became the mother of two beautiful children and the wife of a zen English man.
CHALLENGE
Work – life balance became a major task, juggling work with motherhood and family. I found an equilibrium, but my stress level was high and there remained very little time for myself. I started practicing yoga in my early thirties, although not regularly enough and mainly as a physical exercise.
OPPORTUNITIES
Yoga
During the first Covid lockdown in Spring 2020, I started practicing yoga every day with my cousin Laura in Milan, who gave yoga classes online. Up till then, my understanding of yoga was limited to the practice of the asanas (postures) and some breathing techniques. She opened a new world to me and was my inspiration to learn more about yoga, especially after she offered me the highly acclaimed spiritual classic “Autobiography of a Yogi” by Paramahansa Yogananda. I became so “hungry” for more knowledge about yoga and my karma guided me towards amazing teachers from the lineage of Sri Dharma Mittra in NYC. I feel so blessed and I truly thank the Nivedita school for their 200 Hour Yoga International Alliance teachers’ course, my cousin Laura, Roberto and many other masters with whom I have recently crossed paths.

Nutrition
A further passion or, some might say obsession which I live by, is healthy NUTRITION. Needing to accommodate certain food intolerances when cooking for my family, I learned to eliminate both lactose and gluten from our diet whilst still preparing tasty, balanced, and healthy meals and snacks. This culminated in my decision to study nutrition at the Ecole de Santé de Suisse Romande and my successful graduation in 2020. I am currently completing a course on Ayurveda at the American Institute of Vedic Studies.
Hormone Yoga Therapy
After a few years of battling with menopausal symptoms: hot flushes, insomnia, migraines, stress…, I discovered by chance Hormone Yoga Therapy by Dinah Rodrigues that reactivates the female hormone production which decreases during menopause. I could hardly believe myself how effectively it works. Finally, I had found a natural and healthy solution to diminish the symptoms of menopause and rediscover a good quality of life. As I wanted to share my “discovery” with other women, I attended Dinah Rodrigues’ Hormone Yoga Therapy teachers’ course. Dinah is now 90+ year old and is still practising Hormone Yoga every day. She is full of energy and is a true inspiration for us all to remain as fit and happy as she is as we become older.
